Every Amazon seller should study Doritos.

Search “Doritos” on Amazon.

What shows up? Every single ad spot is taken by Nacho Cheese.

That’s not by accident.

It’s a simple but brilliant move - and most sellers mess this up. Here’s what you should copy: 👇

1 - They lead with their best seller.

Nacho Cheese is the most popular flavor. So that’s the one they pump all their ad budget into.

Too many sellers do the opposite.

They panic because a slow-moving variation isn’t selling, so they push that one with ads.

Bad move.

You end up leading with your worst product. CTR drops. Traffic tanks. It hurts your entire listing.

2 - It’s their cheapest flavor.

Classic “loss leader” strategy.

Lower price = more clicks.

But once the customer is inside the listing? They see the other variations. Cool Ranch, Sweet Chili, etc. - $1 to $5 more.

So yeah, Doritos loses a bit on Nacho Cheese.

But they win with overall traffic, conversion rate, and AOV.

That’s the game.

Push the hero product. Price it to win the click. Let everything else ride its coattails.
